about the University:

The University of Finance and management (VSFS) was founded by the Bank Academy and the Czech coal group in 1999 in accordance with the state permission to act as a private higher education institution. In 2001, its training centres were opened in Most and Kladno. A year later, MBA programs were launched in cooperation with the University of Seattle (USA). A year later, the school was created by the publishing house Eupress, which produces educational materials and books. In March 2003, VSFS was accredited for further master’s studies. In 2016, its training center in Karlovy vary was opened. In 2009, the University of Finance and administration received state approval for the doctoral programme and became the first private economic University in the Czech Republic. About 4,000 students are currently enrolled.
